Registration for King's season '18/19 now open!

The King's Philharmonic Wind Orchestra would like to invite all musicians to apply for membership for their upcoming season. The ensemble is based in Aberdeen and welcomes players from various regions and institutions from across Scotland. King's aim to give musicians the opportunity to perform as part of a dynamic ensemble that sets itself apart from standard university bands in terms of versatility of players and concert programme. 

The next season 2018/2019 will feature:

Orchestra Workshops in Aberdeen
Fri 28 September 2018, 6.30pm
Fri 12 October 2018, 6.30pm
Fri 26 October 2018, 6.30pm

Autumn Concert: "Hateful is the dark blue Sky"
Fri 2 November 2018, 7.30pm
Featuring music of German composers including Hans Zimmer, Johannes Brahms, and commissioned compositions including a premiere by PhD student at the University of Aberdeen, Mike Merrill. 

We offer seats to applicants based on their previous experiences, we might consider inviting applicants for auditions. Please note that a limited number of bursaries are available to cover travel costs. Do not hesitate to contact us with any further enquiries or questions.
