Tobias Wolf to take part in Emerging Conductors Program

Thanks to the RBC Foundation, the Pro Coro Canada is continuing to expand its Emerging Artist’s Program, providing a unique arts education program that inspires and empowers the next generation of music contributors. The driving force behind this program is to offer professional development for all those considering singing in, composing for or conducting a professional choir. Pro Coro Canada (PCC) is committed to fostering choral music within the community through the development of vocal performers, conductors and composers.

The development of conductors is integral to a vibrant choral scene across Canada. Every year, PCC selects emerging conductors for the Emerging Conductor Program. The conductors have the opportunity to work with conductor Michael Zaugg and PCC intensively – both in a one-on-one capacity and working with the ensemble. The conductors are also able to observe multiple conductors and choirs in the Edmonton area through their contact with PCC.

The 2018-19 emerging conductors are Paul Genyk-Berezowsky from Toronto, Erin Craig from Edmonton, Tobias Patrick Wolf from Germany and Gabrielle Gaudreault from Montreal.
