Assistant Conductor, University of Aberdeen Choral Society

With over 100 members, this is the largest musical group in the University. It is made up of students and staff from the University of Aberdeen and of members from outwith the University community. Choral Society is a non-auditioned ensemble. We sing a wide-ranging repertoire comprising both accompanied and unaccompanied compositions. 


Assistant Conductor, University of Aberdeen Symphony Orchestra

The University Symphony Orchestra performs a broad range of full scale orchestral repertoire. The Symphony Orchestra is an auditioning ensemble. You can sign up for an audition at Fresher's Fayre or the Music Fayre or in the University of Aberdeen Music Office. You will be required to perform one piece and a short sight-reading test.

Music Director, The King's Philharmonic Wind Orchestra

The King's Philharmonic Wind Orchestra is an auditioned ensemble based in Aberdeen, Scotland and is open to all professionally-aspiring musicians. They present a challenging repertoire of orchestral and opera classics, wind orchestra originals, as well as commissioned compositions in Aberdeen, Scotland, as well as on tour. (more info)


Conducting Scholar, Aberdeen Bach Choir

Aberdeen Bach Choir performs regularly in St Machar's Cathedral, Aberdeen. As well as works by J.S. Bach, the Choir, with over 100 voices, performs a wide variety of choral music from the 16th to the 21st Century.


Assistant Conductor, The Marischal Chamber Orchestra

As an extension of the work of Symphony Orchestra and by request from many of the players, the Marischal Chamber Orchestra gave its first performance in June 2013. To be eligible to perform with the Chamber Orchestra, musicians must be active members of the UoA Symphony Orchestra.

Choral Director, Anderson Anderson & Brown Choir

The choir is made up of AAB employees, members of Prime Four business Park and their friends and families. We are thrilled to once again be taking part in VSA Sing Sing Sing to raise money for mental health services in the North East of Scotland.
